FPO Could Surpass People's Party

Share of the vote is likely to be increased by Austria's far-right Freedom Party (FPO) in Sunday elections. Social Democrat Chancellor Werner Faymann's government association may well survive, but opinion poll trends proposed the FPO could surpass the People's Party, conservative junior partner.

Overall wealth of Austria at a time of hardship in Europe has done a slight to reduce historic uneasiness at migration.

FPO leader Heinz-Christian Strache in campaign posters recommended, "Love thy neighbor. For me, this means our Austrians". The rise in pensions and setting up a least wage has been promised by the party.

18% in the year 2008.

About 17,400 asylum claims were received by Austria in the year 2012. There was an increase of 21% as compared to an 8 %average increase for developed countries over the previous year.
