Tesla to Cut 9% Of Jobs in Search of Profits

An American Multinational Corporation specializes in electric vehicles; Tesla will be cutting approximately nine percent of its workforce as part of a comprehensive organizational restructuring, also the company seeks to reduce costs and sustainably profitable without endangering the critical ramp-up of production of its Model 3 sedan.

Tesla and SpaceX founder, Elon Musk wrote in the mail, "What drives us is our mission to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable, clean energy, but we will never achieve that mission unless we eventually demonstrate that we can be sustainably profitable."

The employees were intimated through an email by Musk on Twitter handle to avoid misinterpretation. Sources information stated that Tesla has added 8,000 jobs since the start of the year, however, currently employs approximately 46,000 workers.

Further, the email read, "These cuts were almost entirely made from our salaried population and no production associates were included, so this will not affect our ability to reach Model 3 production targets in the coming months."

Tesla’s lay off news comes after Elon Musk announced a restructuring of the company's organizational charts. Tesla founder Elon said that he wants to flatten the management structure of the company to make it less bureaucratic.

The automaker said that no production associates were impacted by the restructuring. In addition, the automaker has concluded that it won't renew its private deals concurrence with Home Depot since it concentrates its endeavors on offering sun based power in Tesla stores.
